Sean Finnerty

Sean serves as Executive Vice President of Renewable Power and M&A. He leads the company’s renewable development efforts throughout North America managing a skilled team of development and commercially focused professionals. He also is Since joining CPV at its inception, Sean has held various leadership roles for CPV and has been a key member of senior management. Previously, he led a broad-based program focused on the development of new natural-gas-fired development projects across North America and oversaw the successful development of over 1,000 MWs of wind generation in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Prior to his time at CPV, Sean worked in project development and government affairs at PG&E Generating Company and held various positions in state government. He holds an MBA from Suffolk University and a B.S. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Sean serves as Executive Vice President of Renewable Power. He also is responsible for securing equity for CPV’s generating projects and identifying opportunities to profitably grow the Company. Since joining CPV at its inception, Sean has held various leadership roles for CPV and has been a key member of senior management.
