The analyses conducted during preparation of the DEIS indicate that the CPV Valley Energy Center will have no significant adverse impacts to the Project area environment. The Facility will comply with applicable Town, State, and Federal standards in addition to providing an efficient and clean source of needed new electricity to the lower Hudson Valley. The Facility will be a major new revenue source for the Town of Wawayanda and Orange County. The construction and operation of the Facility will also realize economic benefits to the region's labor force and material suppliers.
